    Meet us at Flam Beach 10 minutes before departure for a safety briefing.

 FAQ

  • No license is needed, but you must be at least 18 years old to operate the boat.

  • If the weather makes it unsafe to go out, we’ll help you reschedule or offer a full refund. Light rain or cloudy skies won’t stop the trip — just dress appropriately, and you can still have a great experience in any conditions.

  • We recommend staying within the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord — both stunning, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage area. How much you can explore depends on how long you book:

    • 2 hours – enough time to reach the entrance of the Nærøyfjord and enjoy a short trip.

    • 3 hours – lets you travel about 3/4 into the Nærøyfjord, but you'll need to keep a steady pace.

    • 4 hours – gives you time to see the full length of the fjord, with stops at scenic spots along the way.

    • 5–6 hours – perfect if you also want to explore the charming fjord villages or enjoy a longer break during your trip.

    We’ll gladly help you plan a route that fits your preferences and timing perfectly.

  • Yes!
    The boat is safe, stable, and perfect for a relaxed family outing. It comfortably fits up to three adults and two children, and life jackets are provided for everyone on board.

  • Yes, dogs are welcome on board — just make sure they’re comfortable on the water.

  • The boat has a top speed of up to 20 knots

  • Each boat comes equipped with life jackets for all passengers, an oar, and a first-aid kit.
